Thai Restaurant Sri Ayutthaya, USJ 11... Mmm, delicious... (Wednesday 22/11/06)

The day out with cousin brother. All the sudden he wants me to go out with him. Usually i'm always been kicked out from the office for outdoor sales.

We headed to Puchong, reached Kopitiam and had drinks while waiting for his partner, David to come and join us. I didn't where exactly my cousin bringing me along. Soon, David came and showed some documents and they started to discuss about it. As they were about to leave, my cousin told me that my purpose to be here to help him submit the documents to a property company, which in depths of their plans were not supposed to expose to that company. My mission was to deliver the documents by hand, yet they did the same but the company won't be realising who's who in the first place.

It's all business strategies. I never been involved such issues, so i probably won't bother much of it.

Then, we rendezvous at Taipan, USJ 11 where all the lengluis showing up everywhere. We were at Burger King waiting for David to come and pick us up. He went fetching our contract consultant and we'll have lunch together.

the interiors and furnitures are cuntet, i felt almost very comfortable here...
They suggested lots of restaurants, yet found none parking spaces. Therefore, we went to this Thai restaurant, Sri Ayutthaya. It's been awhile i had some Thai food, but this is way over my league. It's classy, most of the businessmen came and have lunch. As we were just a small fry of business society, i could feel we're not in necessary to have lunch in such classy place.

not only distinguish interiors, even got artificial nature environment...
Well then, they ordered food, no smoking inside the restaurant, i ought to look around the interiors and took some snaps of it. My cousin story out David and him at their young ages, they used to worked as lamp post cleaner, although the wages was high, but the works terrifying dangerous and difficult. Before any time passed much, the food were served. Very fast servicing, impressive.

The waiters wore classy uniforms, like Japanese school uniforms, noble and distinguish... Yeah, i put much credits on them, that's my point of view, you ought to check it out. They spoke kind and modest to reach out the standard offers. I stuttered much then, whenever they asked me of something i need. I even grabbed some information and menu from the floor manager, so that my girl would like to check this place out.

the staffs are very friendly indeed...
The prices of the food, em... It's just nice for average salary earner, for once or twice a month to taste such delicacies won't hurt. When we were about to leave, the rain poured heavily. The waitresses took some umbrellas and escorted us to our ride. Just imagine that we were customers, for my concern, we're just small fries, till we headed out to our ride, i mean... Kenari... What happens when the staffs saw our ride, when all the while they served us so well, would they've some comments of our superficial status?

For example:
"Haih? They're just riding a Kenari!!? Why would we bother to serve them so well???"

That actually, just a thought. No dispute ok?

An event held at a temple "Wang Lao Xian Shi" (黄老仙师庙) near my parent's house... (Tuesday 21/11/06)

My mom gave me an invitation card on Sunday during dinner time. I thought it was someone's wedding, while looking at the content, it's a temple (黄老仙师庙) held an event celebrating... I don't remember...

Ok, on Monday, i left the invitation card on my cousin's table in office. He came and saw it, asked me of it's purpose. I said it's just a social lunch with all the vegetarians, which mostly what i'm interested... Free food. My cousin wasn't that much of interests to go there just for the food, yet he would just rush me out from the office to run the turfs.

stalls and car parks filled all over the premises...
Maybe once i'm a salesman, i'm not given any permission to stay in, but stay out, as long as i could, they don't even bother if i'm coming back late... I usually just do my job, but only depends of the time i'm in. Lunch time's a pain in the ass, mostly the clients would go out, while i've to waste all the lunch hour to wait till the clients back to their positions...

some came with true self and prayed for peace and prosperity...
It's almost 11pm, after delivered some goods for outstation deliveries. I called my dad,

"What's the time of the food feast?"

"Around 11-12pm, i guess..." he replied.

"Ok, i'll be there to have my lunch then work..." i confirmed.

"Anything la..." my dad replied like couldn't care much of my preferences.

No wonder this morning my uncle never opened his morning budget food stall. It's a vegetarian day for all buddhists. Seriously, i'm not even so into these buddhist thingy, as for the food's in the house, alrighty for me then.

this is the proch of the temple, last time i used to ride BMX, jumping up and down from the stairs around the porch...
Once i reached, the whole place was packed with cars and crowds. Even traffic policemen helped out to monitor the traffic inside. Stalls everywhere at the parking spaces.

I went in deeper behind the temple, where the food served. It's like a canteen, huge one, consists more than 50 tables, i say, about almost 1,000 of people came to eat. I mean, not only eat la, they prayed too. Me? I forgotten to pray first, maybe i'm way much thinking of work, i rushed myself at the canteen, saw my mom was so busy preparing the food. Kids and adults lining up at the counter line collecting food and each of them hurried to serve the tables, filled with families.

mostly old folks might sit down and waiting for their turn, or just enjoying the moment of the event...
I'm all alone, my mom said just simply take a seat with the rest of the families. Yeah, i'm not shy, cuz i thought i might have my own privacy. I sat at an empty table, then a man diverted me to another table with families. Seriously, totally unfamiliar faces, though i need to eat something for free, i've to bare with the condition.

The food served as quick as i just sat. Everyone started eating the food in fast pace, including, all i could think was finishing the food i had in time, before my cousin suspicious at my time outside. (I doubt that he would take much notices at me when i'm outside.)

seriously, it's like everyone's coming here just for the food, am i right?
A man sat next to me came individual, he finished eating and left the table before me. Once i've finished eating, i left too, after bid farewell with my mom, still busy preparing food for the rest that came late. The authorities begun to use a built plank stand to block the entrance. I guessed the food was limited to those who came early, first come first serve basis though...

However, i've spotted some lengluis there, not that much la. So mostly the people came to this temple, half of the crowds would've the same intention like mine... Free food. Honestly, you wouldn't admit it just like me, ain't? Right, it's nothing to be ashamed of, the food were blessed by God, and we Buddhists should eat some for peace and prosperity.

I don't want to be a cheapskate, i got low salary, so i ought to become one, temporary... Sob...

Fishing with friends... (Saturday 18-11-06)

My half day's work. Nothing much, just being around the town delivering goods. When i'm back to office, it's already 1pm. My dad was around the office too, while my uncles left earlier. I supposed he missed me, so he would stayed to see me after all...

We talked much on my future plannings. He was in good mood to listen everything i had to say. Till we finished talking, it's already 2pm after. My cousin brother passed me all the keys of the office for me to lock. My dad left, and i was left alone. Thought about without any chances using the pc, i stayed and did some personal stuffs.

I finished my stuffs at 4pm, and still there was no news from my cousin, i'm sure they knew i had the keys and probably they would passed by in front of the office and noticed the office was not closed yet. I went back, about to pass the keys to my uncle. The whole family in the house went out... The van and office keys, all with me... Hmmm...

I called cy, forgetting myself was told that tonight's fishing night. Since my girl went for Hong Kong trip, i got so many free time for friends. I stayed home until 7pm, then i waited cy to come and fetch me at Pudu Plaza. Then we went Andrik's house and fetched him too, together all 3 of us waited the rest of the friends arriving at a malay stall where we used to hang out.

I patted it a little and this cat eventually jump onto my lap and rested...
Then Jeremy came, and Mike too. Both dressed on long pants, Jeremy's with his jacket on... Are we going to fish or clubbing, so to speak?

I tried to remove the cat from my lap... but it went quite mad when i attempt to

Later Fang Heng arrived with his uncle, once we met at his house. After a short drink with all, we headed to 7-Eleven, bought some stacks and straight down to Sentul.

everyone's having their own, left these in the ice box...

Seriously, no one went there before, Teik Soon's fish pond. Hmmm, his name's familiar, our junior high. If only i met him again, i could figure out who's he.

Well, our journey wasn't that pleasant, thanks to Mike, or Mabukingpie, took us the wrong route, way passed the landmark. After all the wrong directions, we stopped opposite the Sentul's police station waiting for Teik Soon to come and guide us there. By that time, it's already 11pm...

Teik Soon's father's fish pond.. huge and so many insects... yuck...

Finally, he came, with all his directions, everything seemed so screwed up, not even a proper guidance. Thus, we reached the destination. It looked quite huge from a distance, with Malay stalls, Satay stall, TV and Snooker centre. Mike was excited to go elsewhere, i mean clubbing. Same goes to Jeremy, once Mike made his calls to his friends, he and Jeremy decided to stay a few moments.

Since i didn't own a fishing rod, while Mike brought one, i use his rather renting one, which costs expensive, by hour rate. By paying RM50 as deposite, we're supposed to fish at least 3 hours, each hours costs RM10, not inclusive of the baits.

each costs RM1, so exepensive... some more halfway they all died before we even used them as baits...

Andrik bought the baits, shrimps... Huh? Maybe it's the only baits for these salt water fishes... Each RM1... Mmm, expensive...

After made payments, we went till the end of the pond's corner to fish. It's not that difficult to set up the rods and baits, Andrik the 'Sifu'... Mike, actually, helped out to hook up the baits. Then we all casted out and waited for the catch.

For some moments, some people not far away from us caught some big fishes. It's very huge, about 4kg or less for each they caught. As we were only waiting for the catch, we smoked a lot, and drank beers, chill out and chat some.

Some casted out the baits, they even attached a glowing sticks on the string, while it could float on water, it's used to notify the hit. Andrik's way was using a straw, folded in round shape and let in tangled on the string halfway. It's cool idea, though, rather scratching our heads of where the hell we could find those glowing sticks... Anyway, who really needs those la?

There's Andrik, then Fang Heng's behind him, together with his uncle...

After 2 hours of fishing, nothing came up to us. Next few to us, caught a big one... Damn, why not us? Yet there's one time i thought i almost had one, the fish was huge too, playing around with the baits. The shrimps were almost dying, not even aggressively to whip off from the hook. The rest in the small container, looked dead already. Andrik said it should be fine using those, since everyone's having the same issue, but still caught fishes.

Teik Soon said to us, "Try fishing about 3 hours at least, if you guys can't catch any, maybe i'll give you a fish or two for the loss, ok?"

Yeah right, all the talkings were nice at first. When we thought about it, he already left to his friend's birthday party held in KL's one of the hottest clubbing area... Business, business, always the business...

Sadly, after 3 hours, none of us caught one, with all baits leftover, we gave it all to a guy who sat next to us. Cy's not satisfied at all, he went complaining much and wished he could eat some seafood. And so, we went to Jalan Ah Loh for the seafood.

"I want to taste the delicious Ikan Bakar, Kerang and anything!" gracefully cy seemed.

"Alright, you better settle down, we're here then... So where's the local delicacies you've been?" asked Andrik.

We were at a restaurant which almost closing time for them, just in time we could have our nice supper here. I'm over budgeted my usage today, fucking broke then!

Can you imagine how boring it is??? for me, i'm not feeling that bored, somehow it's relaxing...

I've spent RM50 for the beers and fishing fees... I never thought that i'm going to a fish pond that required fees. Anyhow, i've to pay, and now... Sorry guys, a treat from you again...

Cy ordered so many, got Ikan Bakar, Balitong, Kerang and Char Kuey Teow... (that's Andrik's order)

Then, we went home. I went regretted going out at this very moment, i'm almost broke, with some cash in hand specially to pay up my phone bills... Damn, would i ever go fishing after this lesson?
