Man on High... (Saturday 16/9/06)

Yesterday i called cy whether he had plans tonight. He told me he's going back to his hometown.

Since i've got no plans, i checked my girl's schedule and she told me that there are 2 choices...

Either join her primary classmates' gathering held as a house party or a movie.

She haven't decided which she'll choose. I don't mind going either one, as long she's happy.

Later on, she made up her mind to watch a movie, while she found out most of her classmates were guys would attend. Just in case running out of tickets, we planned to buy it earlier. I worked nearby, so i went over Times Square during work time, in swift.

Since it's crowded during weekends, i used the staircase, that no one could ever possible using it as though it's inconvenient and tiring...

During running down the staircase, i saw a man trying to burn aluminium foil, probably with some drugs on it though. Once he saw me, he quickly crunch the foil n rapidly insert it in his pocket.. Make no mistakes about it, he did trying to take drugs, but then it wasted all the way while putting in his pocket. There goes the money...

He might thought that i would say something to him. Seriously, i don't care much of people doing such things, i have my things to rush. I ran downstairs without taking a little bit more notice at him.

One day of weird discovery...

Lost and found friends... (Wednesday 13/9/06)

It's been a long time i never really get along with my close friends, except my best pal cy who's always available to meet up. The rest would like working or outstationed. Recently, i went out to have dinner with my girl, apparently an anonymous call came, undoubtly i answered it.

Yes, long time since i worked in a commodity company. "Nismo Chai" i called him, means Nissan's sporty nick called Nismo while Chai's means dude. He told me he saw me and my girl were at Pudu Plaza. Surprisingly he's there and unlikely he's around here, he said he worked opposite post office. The last time i heard he worked at Jalan Ipoh... When i think back, his office just few blocks away from my office!

We planned to have a day dinner nearby our place. About 4 years above we never had the chance to meet each other. We used to talk about sports and luxury cars. Also, he's a 2nd-place Daytona Championship (game) winner. 4 years ago, i used to hang out Sg Wang's 2nd floor, on weekdays the consoles were cheaper rate than weekends, like RM1 per 8 laps in Advance Mode on weekdays, while weekends programmed normal laps on Advance Mode... (the rest modes doubled laps accordingly to weekdays and weekends in normal mode...)

It's part of their marketing plan, which weekdays usually off peak.

So far, he's almost unbeatable on car racing. Daytona, Sega Rally and Scud Race... Now i don't know if he's still playing car racing game. He's very good at drifts, controlled with skills, just like a professional.

------

On Wednesday night, i was without any plans for the night and i thought of going to cy's place. He said some friends meeting up at Brewball in Mid Valley, where John's working there. I took public transport there, and looked around the place... You know, before they reached, i might spend a little time spotting some chicks...

Soon, everyone was there. I was told that Mike came back from China for good. Just as we spoken about him, he came with his girlfriend. Damn, how i wish my girl could join us so she could get along with Mike's girl.

We ordered few jug of beers, chatted about our past again. As always, the pasts are memorable, everyone's satisfied of what we did previously. Sounds stupid but fun.

We left soon enough, just to prepare for our work tomorrow. We stopped by at cy's place and got some goodies then headed back straight home.

For the moment, i found back my 2 friends that hard to reach and contact, but now they're nearby...

Are those considered omen?

Trip to Cameron Highlands... (Monday 11/9/06)

Early at 6am, my dad called to ask if i'm awoke. For now, i've 4 alarms at home, one extra was cy's old mobile phone. I hurried myself to prepare and then i found my shoes were completely dried after it's been shined under minor sunlight since Friday evening...

Considered today i didn't work, automatically approved unpaid leave, with highly authorised by my uncle... Yeah, he's the big boss, who has the whole money made the company running, my cousin brother just as for start, he's still need to struggle and pay back every penny he owes my uncle. Partly he's director of the company, through his experience, it's better off to let my uncle handle... I mean, on financial and advices. I'm sort of a puppet in the company, for now they asked me to learn out the company's goods. I guessed in the end of the day, i'm collaborating with my cousin brother. I don't think i might working as Freelance Immigration Officer cuz maybe my uncle just to lure me to help my cousin brother only. Or it's just how it works, for me, anything la, as long they pay me money and stay out from my personal life...

Together, we went to my brother in law's house and had breakfast. We moved out around 8.30am heading to Cameron Highlands. My brother in law drove, while i took my time taking naps... Save my day of driving...

This is where we had lunch at a restaurants.
This place looks peaceful, and cold too...
This place is small, and everyone seemed to be friendly...
We reached almost noon, and had lunch somewhere halfway to temple. Foreigns came to pay visits around here. I saw 3 Japanese ladies talked non stop of their discoveries here. Not a happening place, quiet and peaceful. The food? Ok ok only la, i don't understand why they bother to order food that can cook ourselves, also the food are not so delicious. Of course, we paid for it, and it has to be a value there. Maybe my parents hardly eat nice delicious dishes, just as usual, as thrifty as they would...

Can you take a look of this... packed and crowded...!!!
This is way fucking long queue...
Pasar Pagi... not much stalls, and i saw they sell strawberries...
Then, we left to the temple. The place looked familiar. I came before. Let me think...

Stalls, stalls, stalls...
Whatever they sell quite expensive also...
I wished i could just take a look around but my mom said can't... I'm like a small kid though..
Yes, it was last time when i was form 1, before i join Sri Garden, back in 1994. I was with my neighbour together with my 4th sister and her students, we came to this temple stayed overnight for holiday. What's best about this place was the beds were very wide. Once, i got carried away, together with my neighbour, we started running from the left corner, in sudden trembling on the beds, rolled ourselves till almost reaching the end of right corner. We did as much as we could before my sister's students came in. The weather was so cold, we had to take hot baths. There's no electrical hot bath machine, a conventional type, cool one. It's constructed with gas powered hot bath machine. When it's needed, you've to light it up with fire and boil the water contained. Very artistic creation, somehow it's not as safe as electrical type.

That's the small garden...
Chairs for everyone!!! This picture taken after the session over...
I started smoking during school time, so one night we couldn't sleep. We sneaked out from the dormitory and went into the bathroom cum toilet and smoked. The weather at night was extremely cold and we're at our short pants and thin Tee's. Gosh, i can tell you, it's adventurous and we're sinned to smoke at our young age, also in a temple. Besides of these, we really had fun after all. We stayed 2 nights, if i'm not mistaken. Again, i remembered some of the female students quite attractive, me and my neighbour attempt to flirt with them but failed because we're still young... What a sweet memory...

See how nice the garden looks...
This curve probably nice to drift... Who's got AE86?
It reads 'Namo Amithaba'...
Back to present.

There's stalls selling vegetables, strawberries and some goods beside the road along the way to the temple. Most of the crowds were old folks, together with their young ones. Surprisingly, we had to line up. I never been here, i was told to ask the monk some questions to be resolved by him. The temple's on top of the cliff, and we're not lining up to be there. It's different direction...

That's my dad, and he wonders where the hell my mom went with his old grumpy face...
The temple was renovated with beautiful statues...
Fishes are well tamed and i can even touch them... they're not afraid though...
Quite a long queue... Then it'll be taking a long time waiting for our turns. The temple even provided stools for those lined ups, to be sure they won't tire themselves after a long journey from their hometown. Soon enough, unexpectedly the crowds left in haste. Hmmm, what kind of procedure was that? One group by groups, within half an hour, it's our turn. We went up the stair, a small temple built at centre while there were stalls selling goods too. The temple was closed, no praying sticks or smokes. The monk stood at the right corner of the line ups, with his hands in his pockets. The lined ups, one by one prayed as greeting, asked the monk about their life's questions. The monk replied short and simple, the lined ups left happily after getting the solutions from him.

ahh, i can't stop myself taking fishes pictures...
Here's another nice one...
It reads 'Wan Fu Lai Chao'... Means more prosperity falling to you...
I mean, for all the temples built all over Malaysia, why Cameron Highlands? Why everyone eager to seek help from a monk that only answers by simple and short solutions. When it's my turn, my mom said that i'm not in drift of financial and career. He just replied very simple and short...

"Just cut down your problems..."

That's about it.

The Statue...
The Statue from left of the entrance...
The Statue from right of the entrance...
I already knew what i should do before he said it. When i'm with people around, or going places, i might found myself into troubles, small or big. Was it nice to stay in house watch animes and make my own coffee to enjoy the night before sleeping? I don't mind to have friends coming over at my house cuz my place got plenty space for my friends to sit and stayover. I might be slacked or no fun guy, but i'm through with clubs and happenings out there. Yes, it's fun, but most of my friends diverted to their personal life, some overseas, some married, some rather stay home... When we're in progress reaching 30's, our goals became different and we can't bare ourselves enjoying life as we used to. What's more, those singles need love, in progress they are trying their best to find one and settle their life.

The Statue from front of the entrance...
The Statue from behind of the entrance...
Another additional temple, the real praying area without 'colok colok' thingy...
I used to have much problems created ever since i'm working in Meikah... How i wished i could turn back and start my sound engineer career... Do you think starting now could be harder, or impossible?

The view of inside... looks like church to me...
While we're at the strawberry farm, there's goats everywhere...
...anyway, it's not that much of goats, and they're not intimidated by us...
One specialty i found out from the monk. He's got a pair of feet in reddish color. It's not just a glance, while i'm lining up, i kept looking at his both feet, while his hands were in his front shirt pockets. My mom said he's graduated from University and he can speak English. Everyone's speaking in Mandarin dialect, so as i did.

Old truck abandoned and it fits the picture artistically...
"The greenery looks fresh and cold by the weather...
That's where we were then...
After meeting the monk, we went to the temple on the cliff. I took much pictures of it, can't figured out where i used to stay overnight. The fish pond's full of fishes in different colors. While waiting my mom doing prayers, i played with them. The fishes quite greedy at food, i slightly touch the water surface with just one finger, the whole group came and tried to suck my finger off... Nah, actually they didn't. I pat at their heads as they went joyful.

A small shop selling strawberries and other goods...
A grocery store next to the small strawberry shop...
Check out the mist... and it started to rain...
We left the temple to strawberry garden. Not really a garden, a small stall selling strawberries. Then my mom took out all the coffee instruments and made some for us. What's great about my mom, wherever we travelled, she'll prepare food and drinks, all homemade, rather permit us to spend money at restaurants or coffee shops... Well, she had to do extra jobs after reaching home to clean all the instruments she brought...

Plants garden... chairs for people to take rests and enjoy beautiful views...
That's me, and i'm here reporting...
I feel like buying the plants... but there's no ATM machine around...
It begun to rain, not cats and dogs... Like the end of the world. The rain went berserk and we had to make a stop at Tapah...

Shit man, all the plants are beautiful!!!
Cactus are one of my favorites...
Before we head back home, we're at the last stop...
You know, if you ever travel north from KL, the best Restaurant and Restrooms ever built was Tapah. The place was huge, so does the restrooms. It's clean, comfortable for those sceptics who doesn't like to shit outdoor. (why bother?)

My dad's tired of browsing, so we stood at the nearby shop waiting for my mom and my brother in law to finish their shopping spree...
We had a coffee break while waiting for the rain slows a bit. By then, it's 5pm. Gosh, what time i'll be reaching my place? My parents even planned to have dinner at Shah Alam... Oh man, another laundry delivery postponed till tomorrow, again...

The whole day was raining, until we reached Shah Alam, met some traffic jams, then reached my brother in law's house.

We had dinner at Bak Kut Teh restaurant. After that, we left seperately, i drove and reached my place first then my parents went home.

Surprisingly, more than 40 pictures taken for a day's trip to Cameron Highlands. Although it's just a trip to visit the monk, but then i really did enjoy the trip with my parents. They're happy as i'm happy too.

Emily's Birthday at Chestnuts... (Saturday 9/9/06)

Morning work at my cousin brother's office, from 9am till 1pm. Then i work part time pc software salesperson at 2pm till 9pm. Since on Friday raining like cats and dogs, i wore leather shoes to work at Low Yat... Actually, i felt uncomfortable. Maybe it doesn't apply on my current attire...

The sales went pretty slow, even it's early of the month, most of the working society got their salary or payment, they might starting to buy their long time waited favorite goods. I mean, i wish i could be like them, buy gadgets and new pc and accessories. I'm skint, but hopes planted end of this year, striving to thrift. Some got sceptic at our promo, buy 5 free 1. Yes of course, the whole damn Low Yat's pc software counters selling same price at a time, and still many consumers bothered to ask prices and hoping they could heard lower prices from each different counters. After being opened for so long, nobody still keep in mind it runs by policy understanding, to respect's each individual sales target. It might not be my concern at all, i don't earn commission, just the basic of the day's count.

My girl went to send her brother to the bus station at Putra with her parents tagged along. I knew she could be in vain while with them, so i never thought of asking her to meet up again. I called cy and asked if he's onto something for the night. He told me tonight's Emily's birthday and thrown a party (i thought it might be at her house...). Till then, i agreed to go and cy'll fetch me there by 9pm.

I knew Emily's house around Jln Ampang, so cy took that route and turned at the traffic light junction near Ampang Point. There's pubs behind the shopping mall and Andrik directed us to a secured business centre called Dataran Palma. With few confusing turns, we reached and quite a big crowds in the pub.

I never knew or noticed the name of the pub, until Andrik told me, it's called Chestnuts... Friendly name, for friendly neighbour's gathering... Also, he said that Emily's one of the shareholders, and it never doubts us why she chosen this place to celebrate. There are bands performance and much nice cun chicks to look at. Cy's at his good look attire while i'm still uncomfortable at my leather shoes. Somehow all the chicks were taken, and there precisely hard to get type, unless you're someone, Dato's son la or Tan Seri's son la... We both ordinaries, and we're out of their league... Too hot to handle? Exactly...

This pub's not only for locals, most foreigns from any country would come to this place and chill out. Since i knew it's a friend who partly owns this place, it's best to gather friends here. Hmmm, i'm not getting greed on promotion price or complimentaries... It's the chicks who hangout here, don't make me repeat... Ok, they're fucking HOT! Yeah yeah, i'm like from Kampung... I'm just keen to look at pretty girls... A grown man would ask more on beauty sightseeing...

Andrik spent most of his time with us, while his girl running around, from table to table, chatting with friends. Her friends kept coming and there's a group of Africans, chicks in alluring dresses generously exposing their cleaverages... Man, even they're black, they're HOT too! Um, i supposed they came with their parents and it wouldn't be nice to flirt with them. After all, i started to flirt a girl that cy's interested. The girl's interests in art, like what Emily said. I took my opportunity while she's at the buffet selecting dishes. I may have lots of excuses to start out a conversation, it's the matter i don't need to talk much unless cy make his sequel move. In the end, he did none. The food's great and i've taken much though... *Brrrppp!*

I guess chatting with friends a whole lot more fun than doing flirts...

Later on, Andrik told me Lim Kok Wing's son was there... Um, i don't know his name, they mentioned and i was quite drunk to remember it.

Aw... I can't take my mind off the cun chicks... They're real HOTTIES that night... Transparent dress with black bra...

*Boink!*

Ok ok, i'm so sorry that i said those again...

Lastly, there's a 2 piece band played a tribute song to Emily. What i remembered their chorus, "Em.. Em.. Em... Em.. Em.. Em.. Em.. Em's like Amsterdam..."

"Em.. Em.. Em... Em.. Em.. Em.. Em.. Em's like Amsterdam..."

"Em.. Em.. Em... Em.. Em.. Em.. Em.. Em's like Amsterdam..."

"Em.. Em.. Em... Em.. Em.. Em.. Em.. Em's like Amsterdam..."

"Em.. Em.. Em... Em.. Em.. Em.. Em.. Em's like Amsterdam..."

That's all i remembered la...

About 1.30pm, i beat... We left and wished good luck to our brother Andrik with his Guai Poh Emily for long lasting relationship... And perhaps the dessert is on...

Yeah, about my girl. She would come to join us in the first place but...

Her brother was absent minded about his trip back to his college in Terengganu, while he brought a girl to KL and stayed at my girl's house. He's completely forgotten about his own bus ticket and when he attempt to buy before a day's leave, he couldn't buy one due the tickets sold out. Everyone in the family were mad at him. While he's at the bus station, he bought an underground ticket from unknown person, costs him expensive price plus lateness on scheduled bus arrival. In the end of the day, everyone was pissed and my girl especially, lost her mood to come... I'm sad of course, she likes to look at those cun chicks at Chestnuts... Wasted, maybe next time could have more...

Well then, it's a fun night and i'm not even sober after reaching home, best moment to watch few episods of One Piece and dive in bed... Zzzz...

(Actually, i really want to snap some pictures but my phone's sloppy type, too embarrased to bring it out and snap some... Low resolution la, so not nice lor! After all without flash and it was quite dark at sight... What you want me to do wor?)
