The Test Run... (Friday 7/4/06)

Woke up early at 9pm, got myself ready, and my partner called me...The 'sifu' on the run!And so we went to meet at a budget food stall. We had our breakfast, then we went to meet the shop owner to get our stuffs ready, then back to equipment stall to collect our equipments.here's the assistant... how crappy look i am...Then my partner went to buy some goods to test run. I was alone cleaning up the dishes and the equipment. Later on, he started to cook, mixed the sauces and few attemps that highly unlikely satisfying, but at least he tried, we got the real Char Kuey Teow taste. And i'm still cutting the spices... all the way 2 hours... my hand are kinda smelly now and tired also, my neck hurts and my back bone too... Whatever, it's just a start, sure got all these excuses, right?for fucking 2 hours i've been doing the extracting... smelly fingers and numb neck and back bone ache..So then, my girl will pay me a visit, for this post i'm only be able to type using pc, not from my hp. And i'm sort of lazy in the moment composing long post since someone complaint and don't know who the hell told me so without a name... i don't blame him/her, just to shy to confess...the goods bought and my partner kept using it to test run like it's free...Tomorrow's the first day, and i can't really expect all my friends to be there cuz my partner said he's not well ready yet, and even it is he has to get used to the cooking style. So friends of mine, if you wanna support, please be patience and let us work well prepared in a week or so... alrighty...yes, i think he's stuck with it because cooking somehow it's always been a chef's favourite time to perform art...

Thank god it started...

In The Beginning... (Tuesday 4/4/06)

Finally, we started to have some progress...very unique creation that not every Char Kuey Teow stall look the same...First of all, the stove... which is more important than other equipments needed. Also, the ventilation part is costly but vital to be installed as the place was always filled with morning market, and it should be the best area to do F&B business.took about 2-3 hours to build the ventilation all the way above to prevent pollution towards the morning market...During the day of installation, few days ago my place was out of water supply for a moment, the last i heard from my friend, he said it's about the smell of the water, stinks...i was there, and my partner left me with his friends fro lunch... am i a loser? nah, just be part of responsibility...and so the government decided to have this issue settled... regardless the vital needs for the hawkers, restaurants and even residents...
Yes, i've experienced never took bath for 2 days, and most of the place's toilets stinks like puke...well, just have to wait for the right time to test run...Well, that's all i've gotta say here...
