Treasure Fleet: The Adventures of Zheng He

Zheng He...click to view the website
everyone's late because of the traffic jam along Jln Duta and BangsarLast Thursday on 17th November, the day my boss left to Thailand for the golf Tournament sponsored by Astro. I was so tense working on some tasks which deadline was so close and worried about the timing to finish the job. While the whole afternoon staying in the office, i went to check out what's my Events Team working on.

I saw National Geographic, then Zheng He, some guy who's history a mystery. There's a presentation held in National Muzium on Tuesday night, so my colleague asked around who wanted to go, and i agreed to go. They said after the presentation, refreshment will be served to guests, that's the second attraction to me. The most that got me interested is who the hell is this Chinese Muslim guy travelling around the great seas, collecting treasures, sounds like pirates to me. One way to find out...

Senior Vice President of National Geographic (I don't know his name) was giving a speech before he present his artwork and researchesBefore we start our journey, we had light dinner together. In the afternoon, i was so busy and tired, woke up at 6am, been travelling the whole day, took late lunch, considered tea time.

Along the way, we got ourselves kinda lost trying to reach in the Muzium, traffic jams, somehow we reached in time. It's been many years i never had the interests to pay a visit at this Muzium, so far i came twice, and i know the history of my country was interesting. My colleague said it's a good place to hangout in couples, i thought the best place is both couples stay in a room alone and the show will begin...

MICHAEL YAMASHITA=click to go to his websiteAfter registering ourselves, we went in the auditorium, quite huge and nice clean environment and interior. The presenter, Michael Yamashita, was at the stage nearby setting up his laptop for the screen preview. 2 microphones set up at both runways, crowds were most in late 30's, some dressed up formally yet sexy, i spotted one lady, not so pretty, got her shirt buttoned low to the level of the cleavarage exposure, a very nice view of the tits shape and smooth with skin... Oh oh, i'm expliciting, forgive me. I tried focusing my luck finding any ladies or chicks who had the best looking and figures, found a girl, not hot chick, dressed in white sleeveless shirt with long brown pants, wore spectacles, long hair with trimmed front, great smile and she only came with her friend, both in early 20's. What sort of attraction she has to me was she had the look for any guys trying to find a decent plus stylish girl. Anyway, my girl had the same, i like it that way.

After Michael Yamashita gave the presentation, he was given a complimentary gift from the Muzium Negara's Authority (what Dato something his name)The whole presentation was awesome, the pictures taken by Michael Yamashita were absolutely beautiful, natural lightnings, perfect location shots and the way he presented really amused and detailed. As far as i concerned, i'm not much like the Dato something, don't remember his name. He made the opening speech and most of his words could hardly understand. He mumbled and trying to speak scientifically, twisted audiences' mind.

The presentation lasted an hour, supposed to be an early opening, due to traffic jams and rained, working hours finished late affected guests came in late. When i got back my office to collect my car, it's already 10.30pm.

Tired but fun, i said to my colleague i regretted to join them, now i take back my words. I received a complimentary gift, postcards with all the images taken by Michael Yamashita. So it's worth the effort.
